City living has certainly got a lot going for it, but many of us can end up feeling quite distanced from nature. And this was the thinking behind the Saxton apartment complex…
Saxton is totally different to 99.99% of its rival properties as it is surrounded by 6 acres of grassland (including a wild meadow and a number of allotments!).
There are 400 living spaces in this development and they are housed within two concrete structures (very square and very modern). Saxton’s apartments are very nicely laid out with all manner of funky design features; most notably, its internal balconies.
The kitchens/bathrooms are top banana and the whole caboodle is thoroughly impressive throughout! So if you are looking for a different kind of city development, Saxton could well be your answer. It has plenty of the countryside’s greenery, yet it is still only a 15 minute walk from the heart of Leeds.

Hey Up,
Lived in Old renovated saxton block G-L, stayed H Block 6 months and I Block 9months. Its great value for money (£550 includes private parking and one off gym payment £35 for whole rental period, 2012 prices), stayed in 1 bed flat, they’ve created a larger gym with more equipment, dont know about allotments as i’m not 100 years+. I rented and haggled Urban Splash directly not with 3 rd party estates. They got DPS deposit scheme and as long as you don’t fire bomb the place you get your money back. Only down side its next to saxton Chav blocks. But i dont care didn’t want to spend all my hard earned on rent. I recommend it.
