The hot water supply in The Greenhouse is heated by solar panels, lights are powered by wind turbines (on the roof) whilst any waste water from basins is collected for flushing the loos!
This is all great news for the environment and it just goes to show how much can be achieved with thoughtful building design. And the actual apartments in The Greenhouse are also well thought out; they are spacious, modern and undoubtedly stylish.
The Greenhouse is also in a very convenient location as it is just a short distance away from the motorway. Hopefully we will be seeing many more green apartment blocks in the coming years and if they are anywhere near as good as this one then we can look forward to a very exciting future indeed!
